Rostam Terracotta Tapestry Blanket

Rostam Terracotta Tapestry Blanket – Mythic Animal Motifs in Rich Heritage Colour

The Rostam Terracotta Tapestry Blanket feels like a fragment of an antique story woven into textile. Across its deep terracotta and rust-red ground, elaborate botanical scrolls intertwine with richly illustrated animals, ornamental medallions, and intricate geometric details in antique gold, muted blue, black, ochre, and cream. The symmetrical composition has the magnificent density of a historic tapestry, inviting the eye to wander from one tiny detail to another.

This terracotta tapestry blanket is made for interiors that value storytelling as much as decoration. Animal figures appear amongst curling vines and elaborate ornament, giving Rostam an almost mythical quality, while its warm, aged palette creates the impression of a textile collected over generations rather than a conventional contemporary print.

Turn the Bed into a Piece of Textile Art

• Choose a larger size and let the intricate design become a dramatic tapestry bedspread on a single or double bed.
• Drape a smaller size over a sofa, daybed, or armchair as an ornate tapestry throw blanket.
• Bring warmth and narrative detail to bedrooms, guest rooms, libraries, studies, and richly layered living spaces.
• Style it with traditional, Persian-inspired, eclectic, maximalist, global-inspired, or old-world interiors.
• Pair with dark timber, walnut, antique brass, leather, velvet, ceramics, and softly aged decorative pieces.

Terracotta, Antique Gold and Beautifully Collected Colour

Available in multiple sizes, the Rostam Terracotta Tapestry Blanket can be an elaborate blanket throw or an impressive bedspread blanket. Across a larger surface, the symmetry of the composition becomes particularly striking: animals, branches, medallions, and decorative forms radiate through the warm terracotta field like an antique tapestry displayed horizontally across the bed.

The palette is wonderfully rich without being difficult to decorate around. Terracotta and rust provide warmth, antique-gold details add luminosity, muted blues offer contrast, and touches of black give the intricate motifs definition. Against cream walls and simple bedding, Rostam can do almost all of the decorating itself.

A Blanket with an Entire World Hidden in Its Pattern

What makes the Rostam Terracotta Tapestry Blanket so captivating is the sense of discovery within its design. Look once and you see a richly patterned textile; look again and individual animals, curling foliage, and ornamental details begin to emerge. Whether enjoyed as a soft blanket, decorative throw, or statement bedspread, Rostam brings warmth, artistry, and the romance of historic tapestry design into the home.
